Abstract

In a wood panelling from profiled boards with grooving and tonguing assembly (2), it is possible to prevent deformations caused by the swelling of the wood by providing at certain intervals throughout the length of the profiled boards set pressure areas (6) between the tongue (2) and the bottom of the groove of the adjacent profiled board. Upon assembling the profiled boards, the pressure areas (6) have initially a sufficient stop effect; nevertheless, they are clamped upon a wood deformation, without the occurrents of tensions. The set pressure areas (6) may be knops formed on the tongues and projecting in the width direction, or they may be spacing bodies like clamps or small wooden pieces which may be inserted at certain intervals into the groove.

Description

Holzschalung aus Profilbrettern Wooden formwork from profiled boards
The invention relates to a wooden formwork with tongue and groove interlocking profile boards, expansion joints being provided between the abutting surfaces of the profile boards facing each other in the width direction.
Profile boards of, for example, 85 mm width shrink by 1 to 2 mm in the width direction during drying and subsequent storage until processing, depending on the type of wood. If these profiled boards are then laid close to each other for wall or ceiling cladding or as a door leaf of up-and-over doors, they have no space for expansion if the wood swells under the influence of the weather. The formwork then inevitably poses and detaches from the retaining strips. In extreme cases, fastening screws on steel frames are even sheared off.
It is therefore known, for example from German Offenlegungsschrift 25 03 713, to arrange expansion joints of at least 1.5 mm in width when laying between the profiled boards, as a result of which the wood can stretch freely and without tension. From this document, a clampable spacer is known, which should make it easier to set constant expansion joints during assembly. Working with such spacers is cumbersome because the shape of the holder must be matched to the respective cross-sectional shape of the profile board, which makes it necessary to stock a large number of different spacers. The work is hampered by the fact that several spacers have to be attached to each individual board and removed again after it has been fastened.
From German Offenlegungsschrift 29 01 633 it is also known that a so-called on the opposite side of the profile board in the area of the spring called squeeze joint to be installed in such a way that a narrow stop bar protrudes from the spring at right angles, the groove being held so deep that there is an expansion joint in the groove when the neighboring profiled board lies tightly against the Ans.chlagleiste. If the profile boards now swell in the moisture, the stop bar is sheared off, thus creating space for the swelling volume. At least in the case of tilting gates, in which such formwork is also visible and accessible from the rear, the sheared-off and then falling out stop strips are very undesirable, since they give rise to complaints.
Finally, formwork is known from utility model 19 70 190, the profiled boards of which are bevelled at an outer edge of the groove in a pointed wedge shape, the sharp edge forming the mutual stop during assembly. If the source pressure is excessive, the edge should compress, for example by bending or breaking off. Apart from the difficulty of producing such a sharp edge, this does not represent a reliable stop when the profile boards are tapped together. Also, bending or breaking off the edge leads at least to flaws and accordingly to complaints about the formwork if the rear side is visible.
The invention has for its object to propose a formwork that can be provided with constant expansion joints without any additional devices or special tools and without impairing the clean appearance on both sides with normal processing.
This object is achieved on the basis of a wooden formwork of the type described in the introduction in that distributed at intervals over the length of the profile boards Desired pressure points are arranged between the tongue and the bottom of the groove of the adjoining profile board. In the fully assembled formwork, these individual pressure points are in the groove closed by the tongue and are therefore not visible. The dimensions of the pressure points, in particular their spacing in the longitudinal direction, are selected depending on the hardness of the respective wood so that they have a sufficient impact when tapping the profile boards during assembly, but are squeezed together or so far displaced when the wood swells the profile boards can stretch sufficiently and tension-free in the length ranges between the target pressure points. This eliminates damage caused by throwing up and blemishes.
It is particularly expedient if knobs protruding in the width direction are formed on the springs of the profile boards. This can preferably be done in that the end faces of the springs are lightly milled in sections, the nubs then remaining between the milled sections. For example, they can be a few millimeters long or pointed. The spacing of the knobs from one another is preferably chosen to be of the same size and is, for example, approximately between 30 and 60 cm. Since the knobs are formed from the grown wood, they cannot be lost or their function impaired during the further processing of the profiled boards and during transport, in particular due to the influence of wood preservatives or paints.
On the other hand, it is also possible that spacers are introduced into the grooves of the profile boards. These can be clamps or nails pressed into the groove base, which are used to protect the profile boards from being shortened Deten saw tools are preferably made of plastic. However, other spacers, for example spherical or cuboid of any material, for example also made of wood, can be glued into the groove or clamped between the groove walls. All of the spacers mentioned here also have the effect of serving as spacers under the low forces when the formwork is tapped together, but are squeezed together under the much higher swelling pressure or pressed into the wood.
The attachment of the spacers to the profile boards is best done in connection with the side processing, e.g. B. as an additional device of the throat planer. An application disk can be provided which runs with its peripheral region in the groove. The spacers, optionally coated with glue, can be loaded automatically into the recesses in the edge of the pane and then inserted into the groove at intervals as they continue to rotate.
Im einzelnen zeigtTwo embodiments of the invention are explained below with reference to the drawing. In detail shows

Fig. 4 einen Horizontalschnitt IV-IV gemäß Fig. 3. Außerdem werden die Profilbretter auf querverlaufenden, nicht dargestellten Halteleisten befestigt, insbesondere aufgeschraubt.4 shows a horizontal section IV-IV according to FIG. 3. The profile board according to Figures 1 and 2 has a common cross section. A groove 1 is formed on the left side and a tongue 2 is formed on the right side. The tongue 2 engages in the groove of the neighboring profile board, whereby the individual boards are connected to form a coherent formwork. In addition, the profile boards are fastened, in particular screwed, on transverse retaining strips, not shown.
The width of the profile board during its production is dimensioned such that the spring would completely fill the groove 1 of the neighboring profile board at the mutual spacing of the profile boards shown in FIG. 1. On the output side of the throat planer, which processes the sides, a further end mill 3 is arranged on a clock-controlled swivel arm 4. During the advancing movement of the profile board in the direction of arrow 5, the milling cutter 3 is temporarily in the position shown, whereby the spring 2 on the end face decreases by the dimension d, which is approximately 2 mm. After a certain time, however, the swivel arm moves to the right and thereby lifts the milling cutter 3. Immediately afterwards he moves back to the previous position and after a certain time interval the game repeats itself. This results in the spring 2 protruding knobs 6 in the width direction, which are at a distance of about 600 mm from each other in the longitudinal direction.
When the profile boards are plugged together, these knobs 6 abut the bottom of the groove 1, into which the tongue 2 has been inserted. However, if the wood swells under the influence of moisture, then the extremely strong swelling forces act on the set pressure points formed by the knobs 6, which leads to the wood being locally compressed on the knobs or the knobs being pressed into the surrounding wood. Such The formwork can withstand local stresses because the profile boards can expand freely, the springs 2 penetrating further into the grooves 1 while filling in the expansion joints created by the milling.
In the example according to FIGS. 3 and 4, target pressure points are provided in the groove 1. The stops here are not formed by shaping the grown wood, but by U-shaped clips 7 made of plastic, which are pressed into the bottom 8 of the groove 1 with their pointed legs. As shown, the web of the clamp 7 protrudes about two mm above the bottom 8 of the groove. For the automatic attachment of the clamps 7, a pressure wheel mounted similarly to the milling cutter 3 can be used, to which circumferential recesses for receiving the clamps 7 are attached and whose working cycle determines the distance between the clamps 7.
The effect of the clamps 7 is the same as that of the knobs 6: they form a stop during assembly and are completely pressed into the wood by the swelling forces.
