UTPD: UT Football student-athlete arrested Saturday for reckless driving

According to crime logs from the University of Tennessee Police Department, Chandavian Bradley was arrested on March 23 for reckless driving.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A University of Tennessee student-athlete was arrested on Saturday for reckless driving, according to a 60-day crime log from the University of Tennessee Police Department.

The log said Chandavian Bradley, 19, was arrested. It also said the incident happened at around 11:09 p.m. Saturday night near the intersection of Volunteer Boulevard and Pat Head Summit Drive.

He is a redshirt freshman and plays as a defensive lineman, according to UT Sports. It also said he enrolled at UT in June 2023 and participated in summer workouts. He is from Platte City, Missouri, where he helped lead Platte County High School to back-to-back playoffs in 2020 and 2021, according to UT Sports.

It said he committed to the Vols in July 2022 after getting 32 scholarship offers.

UT Athletics released a statement about his arrest. It is available below.

"We are aware of the citation, and this matter is being handled internally."
