Man Utd's £100m Jadon Sancho transfer fight with Champions League rivals

EXCLUSIVE: United are ready to pay a record fee to bring whizkid Sancho home from Dortmund — but have competition

England starlet Jadon Sancho on life in the Bundesliga

Manchester United are set for a mega-money tug-of-war with Champions League rivals Paris Saint-Germain over boy wonder Jadon Sancho .

The European big guns lock horns in a last-16 second leg in the French capital on Wednesday - PSG hold a 2-0 lead from the first game at Old Trafford - and are also set to do battle for Three Lions starlet Sancho in the transfer market.

United are ready to stump up the biggest transfer fee ever paid by a Premier League club this summer to make teenage winger Sancho the most expensive English player in the game's history.

The 18 year-old’s value is now well in excess of £100m — more than the then-world record £89m United paid to re-sign Paul Pogba from Italian club Juventus in 2016 and almost double the £53m current highest-priced Englishman Kyle Walker cost in a move to Manchester City from Tottenham a year later.

But they will face huge competition from serial French title-winners PSG.

They want to add Sancho to their array of attacking talent that already includes the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Brazilian superstar Neymar.

Sancho joined Dortmund for around £10m from Manchester City in August 2017.

And his thrilling displays since, including nine goals and 14 assists in 31 games this season, have seen him emerge as one of the most exciting talents in Europe and sent his value soaring.
