All you will need in a tablet
Surrey57· Review provided by johnlewis.com · February 24, 2024
This product was purchased as a replacement for an old iPad bought (from John Lewis for about £200 more with 128 MB - never needed - than the current product with 64MB so the new replacement is better value in my opinion) in September 2015. It will come as no surprise to users of this type of tablet that the new iPad I now have has much, much longer battery life than the 8 year old equivalent that has to be recharged every night. I haven't noticed any better performance in terms of chip speed but I'll believe it's better. Battery life for me, is far more important.

I only use Apple products: iPad, iPhone, desk top iMac and Apple Watch; and they all work together reliably with absolutely no problems! That's Apple quality and well worth the premium prices. My first home PC over 40 years ago was an expensive Apple II, but I've used Microsoft Windows on PCs at work. I know both operating systems not to mention the differences in hardware from desktops to the laptops. I regard Apple as the best!
[Rewarded Review] As Always Another Great Product Bought At Best Buy
PhilR· Review provided by bestbuy.com · October 23, 2024
Best Buy in Oswego is one on a short list of stores whose products that I buy are of high quality, and work great without any problems; this iPad lives up to that.

What I really like about buying expensive gadgets from a well-known retail store like Best Buy is the 100% confidence that the products are indeed new, and no shady business is invovled such as getting a used product repackaged as new... or from some unknown 3rd party e-commerce company fufilling orders for online retailers delivering slightly different products vs in-store purchases. Ex: I ordered an Apple charger from Walgreens because it could be delivered in 2 hours... but I noticed it was made in India, instead of China like all the official Apple chargers at walk-in stores. (Made in India official Apple branded chargers are well known to overheat, and die prematurely.) I drove to the actual store the following day to exchange it for a Made in China charger. That stuff never happens at a retail store like Best Buy.

The battery life is a little disappointing... but no fault of Best Buy's. Also, it might need time to work itself out... as can occur on any new mobile device.
[Rewarded Review] Wow what a Bargain

Wow wow wow. I was debating between getting the ipad 10 or the 9. But once u factor in the cost of a protective case, apple pencil (1st generation), and taxes after paying the ipad. It makes more sense to just get the older version. The only thing thats different is the design, its the same 60hz display, with a newer chip inside. If all you do is consume content and play games like I do just buy the budget 64gb version. It’s perfectly suitable for playing Royal Match, Candy Crush, or watching YouTube. Still a steal in 2024. And more than worth it. I love mine and this is my first ever iPad I have owned. Did I mention how great the battery is! I don’t have to charge for like 3/4 days! If. I had to name one thing I didn’t care for its the speakers that only located on the bottom which make it somewhat difficult to hear. But cmon if its just u alone in your living room or bedroom it doesn’t affect your experience all that much. Plus can plug im some headphones via the included headphone jack, or hook it up via bluetooth.
[Rewarded Review] The best iPad after the 10th gen for 95% of us
Timbukstu· Review provided by bestbuy.com · July 27, 2024
Most people want a M4 iPad but only 1% of iPad users can actually use its functionality.

Buy this or the 10th gen now, and if you think you need Apple Intelligence features, sell this and buy the 11th gen iPad when it drops later this year or next year. It will still be cheaper than buying an iPad Air.

If you want your first iPad this or the 10th gen are the one to get. They will last you until 2029 or 2030. If you are a kid in school, this iPad is perfect for you. I use these for work and they are great. It works, it looks good, it’s good to watch movies, the Apple Pencil works great. Drawing is great on it.

I use it for work which requires using the iPad and using the Apple Pencil for about 4 plus hours daily. I watch YouTube on it when using for fun and work how to videos. Probably the best performing iPad for 95% of users.
