August 22, 2024I've been using the Apple AirPods (3rd Generation) for about a week now, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations in several ways. Here’s a detailed review based on my experience:
Fit and Comfort
One of the standout features for me is the fit. These AirPods never fall out of my ears, even during intense activities like running or working out. The design is more ergonomic compared to previous models, and the shorter stems make them less obtrusive¹.

December 13, 2024Having had wired apple earphones and having used my husband's 2nd generation AirPods I purchased 3 sets of these for myself and my daughters (who had also previously used apple wired earphones) and was very excited to get these. HOWEVER, when I opened these I found that the earpieces are much bigger than previous apple earphones and just wont stay in my ear. The left ones pop out if I smile and won't stay in place more than a minute or 2 even without moving my face. I might get 10mins if I'm lucky with the right ear. Thankfully I was able to return the 2 other sets as these had been purchased for Xmas presents and so hadn't yet been opened, but John Lewis have refused to refund the opened pair instead insisting that I need to travel from Northern Ireland to England or Scotland to have an evaluation to see if they're eligible for a refund. The cost of doing this would be more than the headphones and there's no guarantee they would refund them anyway so obviously this isn't an option. This seems at odds with the return policy which lists items that can't be returned as "Items you've opened or unsealed, other than where necessary to inspect". Clearly it was necessary for me to open these to inspect them and find out that they wouldn't fit in my ear. I think this is very poor service from John Lewis, who I have previously found to be great. I am so disappointed in this product and the service from John Lewis and won't be purchasing from them again unless they resolve this. So much money down the drain on a product that I can't even use. Terrible

August 14, 2024I bought these as my 2019 Airpods mic stopped working and no one could hear me even though I could hear them perfectly, no good for work calls.
They arrive beautifully packaged as per Apple products, the set up was seamless, took less than a minute to connect to my phone. They are a different shape to the older style and slightly bigger; I have tiny ears but luckily they fit well. I chose them over the Airpod Pro as I've used in ear headphones with the buds that you can use to fit different ear sizes and even the smallest ones don't fit properly. I haven't had a problem with these falling out.
The sound quality is much improved on my old ones, I like bass! Fiddly to get in and out of the case and I've dropped them a couple of times already :( The case doesn't have the same feel of quality as my old one and there's a noticeable difference in the weight of it, basically the material feels a bit cheaper. I also don't really like the button to move tracks forward, pause play etc. as it's kind of on the inside of the Airpod stem and I think it's hard to click without knocking it out. I definitely prefer the old way of tapping the Airpod to move a track on.
All in all though I'm happy, the were on offer when I bought them, I have working Airpods and the sound is great.

August 18, 2024THIS SELLER IS CLEARLY A SCAMMER! I purchased these AirPods as a Christmas gift, but they arrived with damaged packaging. It's evident that people might collect boxes, and presenting a gift in such condition is unacceptable. Consequently, I returned the item since I no longer needed it and had already acquired a replacement gift due to urgency. To my astonishment, they declined the return, alleging an incorrect serial number, which is different from the one they dispatched. It appears there is an inventory problem on their end during product dispatch, yet I'm compelled to accept a product I no longer require. They assert they can't delve further into the matter, offering a stupid partial refund. Consequently, Lazada's protection seems worthless; there is no actual safeguard. This is an outright scam—providing a damaged item and coercing consumers to accept it due to an inventory error that originated with them. There's no one else to contact besides customer service, and even the seller remains unresponsive. I intend to report this incident to the police. Do contact me if you intend to resolve this amicably, as i have exhausted all options trying to reach out.
